The affair begun right from my childhood days and the love came out all the more during my bachelorette days in Bangalore when I could literally live on them – on days I had them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The love continues till date. Testimony to the fact remains that I serve dosa to my family at least once a week. But at times, I remain so drained off my energy that I forget to ferment rice and dal overnight. So on those particular days I serve these Instant Ragi dosa | Nachni dosa | Finger millet dosa.
Instant Ragi dosa | Nachni dosa | Finger millet dosa are made out of finger millet, rice flour and semolina. Ragi or millet or nachni is a whole grain and is too good to control weight, blood sugar level. It’s high in dietary fibre content. It has good amount of calcium and also it has anti-aging effects on your body. So in one shot if you need a healthy, filling breakfast just go for Instant Ragi dosa | Nachni dosa | Finger millet dosa.

Ingredients to make Instant Ragi dosa | Nachni dosa | Finger millet dosa:
- 1 cup ragi flour
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1/4 cup semolina
- Salt
- Refined vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup curd
Serves 6 Instant Ragi dosa | Nachni dosa | Finger millet dosa
Instant Ragi dosa | Nachni dosa | Finger millet dosa recipe:
- In a mixing bowl, add ragi, rice flours and semolina. Add salt to taste and beaten curd. Mix well
- Add water. The battery should be flowing
- Keep the batter at rest for 30 minutes
- Take a non- stick tawa. Heat it very well. It should be very hot
- Brush some oil on the surface of the pan
- Add a cup of the mixture. Let the batter spead on the surface like you do in case of pan cakes
- Heat it for some time till the dosa is cooked on one side. Flip another. Cook for some time more
- Serve hot!
