Ingredients for Kalo jeera foroner kumro | pumpkin with onion seeds recipe cooked for 2 people:

1. Pumpkin or kaddu – 500g diced into medium pieces

2. Potato – 1 big diced into same pieces as pumpkin

3. Kalonji or kalo jeera – 1 or 1/2 tsp

4. 2 slitted green chillies

5. 3/4 tsp turmeric powder

6. Salt

7. Oil

Kalo jeera foroner kumro | pumpkin with onion seeds recipe – The Method:

1. Heat oil in a Wok

2. Put Kalonji or onion seeds and slitted chillies. Let them crackle

3. Put potato pieces and stir for 2-3 minutes

4. Put pumpkins,  turmeric and stir fry

5. Add salt and water if required and cover cook for sometime till cooked

Serve hot as a side dish!
